<![CDATA[East Campus Road Closure - 3rd Street and Williams Street - Begins Dec. 19]]>
Upcoming campus infrastructure improvements will result in traffic impacts to 3rd St. and Williams St. beginning Dec. 19.
The installation of a new electrical duct bank serving the Area 2 residence halls (Hopkins/Hanson/Perry/Matheson/Field) will begin Dec. 19 and continue into the start of spring semester. The installation under the roadway of 3rd St. will require a full closure of 3rd St. (east of Techwood Dr. and Williams St.) up to where it intersects with the North Ave. off-ramp. The closure will occur daily from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The associated maps indicates the approximate path (red line) of the new electrical duct bank. Attached are detailed phasing images showing the area when:
a. The road is closed 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
b. The road is open 4:01 p.m. to 8:59 a.m.
