Their briefcase-sized satellite was catching a ride on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket in late November, four months ahead of schedule.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003ESuddenly the team of researchers and students found themselves ramping up preparations for a journey to the moon in search of frozen water at the lunar south pole.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThose preparations are now complete. Launch week has arrived, with liftoff scheduled for the early morning hours of\u0026nbsp;Nov. 30.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EAbout an hour after launch, Georgia Tech\u0026#39;s team will get to work. They\u0026#39;ll begin communicating with Lunar Flashlight after it is\u0026nbsp;ejected into space.
