Malvern scientists will be on hand to introduce light scatting concepts and demonstrate the tool with user-provided samples. Attendance at this workshop will constitute the initial training on this tool, which the NRC has available in the Marcus organic cleanroom. You do NOT need to be a current NRC user to attend.\n\n\u003C\/p\u003E\u003Cp\u003EThe Malvern Instruments\u2019 Zetasizer ZS measures particle size (0.3 nm to 10 \u03bcm) via dynamic light scattering (DLS) with backscatter optics and zeta potential using electrophoretic light scattering (ELS).  This tool can also be used to measure molecular weight (as low as 342 Dalton).
