An experienced researcher, educator, and administrator, Panitch most recently served as executive associate dean of engineering at the University of California, Davis.

Panitch’s research focuses on inflammation as a driver of disease, and her work over the years has resulted in dozens of patents and several technologies licensed to startup companies.
