Quir\u00f3s-Cordero is a Materials Science and Engineering PhD student at Georgia Institute of Technology advised by Materials Science and Engineering Professor Natalie Stingelin and School of Chemistry Professor Carlos Silva. Her research focuses on the photophysics of strong light-matter coupling in fully solution-processed microcavities, and her project aims to provide guidelines for the utilization of strong light-matter coupling and solution-processed photonic structures in chemistry and the realization of quantum information technologies. \u201cI am very grateful to SPIE for their support. I am proud of representing Latin American women in optics and photonics,\u201d said Quir\u00f3s-Cordero. Quir\u00f3s-Cordero also wished to thank her advisors and the Georgia Tech Quantum Alliance for their support.
