  <title><![CDATA[Chang Authors Chapter on Live, Virtual Language Teaching]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[<p><a href="https://modlangs.gatech.edu/people/person/7afd7c7c-7d0f-5d84-9028-5958ae492b8c">Seung-Eun Chang,</a> lecturer of Korean in the <a href="https://modlangs.gatech.edu/">School of Modern Languages</a>, authored a chapter in the book<em> <a href="https://utorontopress.com/9781487528911/curriculum-design-and-praxis-in-language-teaching/">Curriculum Design and Praxis in Language Teaching</a>.</em> The book presents a variety of approaches for teaching linguistics, foreign languages, and world literatures in higher education.</p>

<p>In the&nbsp;chapter, titled &ldquo;A Guide to Synchronous Online Language Teaching,&rdquo; Chang addresses the benefits and challenges of teaching a foreign language in a live, virtual setting. She provides strategies to&nbsp;create dynamic, interactive, and effective environments for online language classrooms.</p>

<p><em>Chang also <a href="https://modlangs.gatech.edu/news/item/652687/chang-publishes-book-media-culture-integrated-with-advanced-korean">recently published</a> the book &lsquo;Media, Culture, and Debate in Korean,&rsquo; which provides a roadmap for a fourth-year Korean course centered around media and culture. </em></p>
