{"656592":{"#nid":"656592","#data":{"type":"event","title":"CREATE-X Spring I2P Showcase","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003EOn Monday, April 25, CREATE-X will host the Spring 2022 Idea to Prototype (I2P) Showcase in the Marcus Nanotechnology Building Atrium from 5 to 7 p.m. At the showcase, student inventors across campus will present over 30 functional prototypes with application to real-world problems. The event is free and open to the public.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThe showcase is the culmination of the I2P course, where Georgia Tech students spend a semester turning their invention idea into a working product. Students earn research credit for the course, in addition to receiving financial support and faculty mentorship.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThe I2P course was established through CREATE-X, a Georgia Tech initiative devoted to instilling entrepreneurial confidence in students and empowering them to launch successful startups. CREATE-X consists of three programmatic elements \u0026ndash; LEARN-MAKE-LAUNCH \u0026ndash; and I2P is a key part of MAKE.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThe showcase in April will highlight the talent and hard work of students who participated in I2P throughout the spring semester.
