He is also part of Vanderbilt\u0026rsquo;s Medical Innovator Development Program (MIDP), which focuses on training doctoral graduates to become future physician-innovators. He received his doctoral degree in Bioengineering from Georgia Tech, where he studied cell mechano-transduction and signaling activity at focal adhesions. In this talk, Dennis and the MIDP coordinator will first give a short overview of MIDP, including the program\u0026rsquo;s goals, curriculum, and application process.
