655792 event 1645817171 1646151694 <![CDATA[Reception and Opening of ULI Hines Competition Exhibit]]> Join us as we celebrate the accomplishments of our 2022 ULI Hines Student Competition teams. One of our ten teams is in the finals for their proposal, "Linkup Oakland," and a second received an honorable mention for "Seize the Freeway."

A reception in the Cohen Gallery (second floor, East Architecture building) will open the exhibit of all the teams' proposals. 

The ULI Gerald D. Hines Student Urban Design Competition draws teams from around the globe to create a development proposal for a real, large-scale site. Each finalist will receive $10,000, and the winning team will receive $50,000.

This year 93 teams delivered proposals for a site in Oakland, California.
