{"655437":{"#nid":"655437","#data":{"type":"event","title":"Drawdown Georgia GHG Tracker Launch Event","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EYou can\u0026rsquo;t manage what you can\u0026rsquo;t measure.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/strong\u003EAs we work collectively to draw down greenhouse gas emissions in Georgia, we can now track and visualize that progress.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThe new\u0026nbsp;\u003Cstrong\u003EDrawdown Georgia GHG Emissions Tracker\u003C\/strong\u003E\u0026nbsp;is a free,\u0026nbsp;\u003Cstrong\u003Efirst-of-its-kind\u003C\/strong\u003E, interactive tool that shows where greenhouse gas emissions come from in Georgia at the state and county level.\u0026nbsp; The county level data allows users to drill down into local illustrations based on key emission impact categories in their own communities, such as: transportation, industrial and electrical generation. The industrial level categories can then be further broken down by industry type, location and size\/impact.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThe Tracker was developed by Dr. William Drummond of Georgia Tech, along with colleagues at both Georgia Tech and University of Georgia.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/us06web.zoom.us\/webinar\/register\/WN_nkeD_YSvR86EwHqNhAcaDg\u0022 rel=\u0022noopener noreferrer\u0022 target=\u0022_blank\u0022\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EJoin us\u003C\/strong\u003E\u003C\/a\u003E\u0026nbsp;on\u0026nbsp;\u003Cstrong\u003EFebruary 24th at 3 pm Eastern\u003C\/strong\u003E\u0026nbsp;to learn all about how the Drawdown Georgia GHG Emissions Tracker was developed, how to use the wealth of data contained in this new tool, and how you can interpret and apply this information in your community, business, and local government.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThis presentation will be moderated by\u0026nbsp;\u003Cstrong\u003EBlair Beasley,\u003C\/strong\u003E\u0026nbsp;director of climate strategies at the Ray C.
