A roughly 30-minute drive from Georgia Tech, embark on a 2.9-mile moderate hike with our very own Earth & Atmospheric Science professors. The professors joining us on this adventure will be Dr. Samantha Wilson and Dr. Ellery Ingall! No pop quizzes here, just come and enjoy nature while learning about the geology beneath our feet!

** Note this is not your average hike, expect frequent stops and pondering **

We suggest bringing: comfortable hiking clothes, sturdy shoes, a mask, snacks, and plenty of water. 

This event does have limited spots, so an RSVP is required to attend. In order to provide an equal opportunity for everyone to attend spots to attend are filled based on a lottery system. To enter into the lottery fill out this google form to express interest. Spots will be drawn randomly through MatLab and winners will be emailed on Sunday, 2/13 and winners must confirm their attendance by Wednesday, 2/16. If your number is not drawn, you will receive an email that you are waitlisted. We will observe all COVID guidelines including mask-wearing while in vehicles with others.
