{"653294":{"#nid":"653294","#data":{"type":"news","title":"Finals Week Gets an Upgrade ","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003EMany on campus\u0026nbsp;already\u0026nbsp;think of Midnight Breakfast\u0026nbsp;as a\u0026nbsp;mainstay\u0026nbsp;during\u0026nbsp;finals, but this year, Georgia Tech Finals Week\u0026nbsp;will\u0026nbsp;give students\u0026nbsp;even more opportunities to take a study break,\u0026nbsp;relax, or\u0026nbsp;let off some steam\u0026nbsp;in a safe and fun way.\u0026nbsp;With\u0026nbsp;support\u0026nbsp;from Invesco QQQ, Student Center Programs Council (SCPC), SMILE, the Campus\u0026nbsp;Recreation\u0026nbsp;Center (CRC), and Tech Dining have partnered for\u0026nbsp;this semester\u0026rsquo;s\u0026nbsp;Finals Week\u0026nbsp;to\u0026nbsp;provide\u0026nbsp;opportunities for students to take a minute for themselves\u0026nbsp;during a high-stress time of the year.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003ETuesday, December 7\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/strong\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EFinals Week\u0026nbsp;kicks\u0026nbsp;off with\u003Cstrong\u003E\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/strong\u003EBuzz\u0026rsquo;s Winter Wonderland\u0026nbsp;on the last day of class\u0026nbsp;from 11 a.m. -\u0026nbsp;3 p.m.\u0026nbsp;in W21 Parking Lot (near MRDC).\u0026nbsp;Students can\u0026nbsp;learn how to ice skate, take a tube ride down a snow slide, decorate some winter themed arts, and have a cup of hot cocoa.\u0026nbsp;The first 300 students will get a free Georgia Tech beanie hat!\u0026nbsp; RSVP on\u0026nbsp;\u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/gatech.universitytickets.com\/w\/event.aspx?id=1860\u0022 rel=\u0022noreferrer noopener\u0022 target=\u0022_blank\u0022\u003ECampus Tickets\u003C\/a\u003E.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EWednesday, December 8\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/strong\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EOn the first reading day, SCPC will host two different events to\u0026nbsp;help\u0026nbsp;students\u0026nbsp;de-stress in between study sessions.\u0026nbsp;From 11 a.m. -\u0026nbsp;2 p.m.,\u0026nbsp;students can\u0026nbsp;come to the Exhibition Hall for\u0026nbsp;Relaxation Station,\u0026nbsp;a chill out and destress event with massage chairs, aromatherapy, wax hands, scented candle-making, and more.
