According to the \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/www.atlanta.sciencegallery.com\/events\/unfiltered-a-social-media-hack-a-thon-experience-multi-week-challenge\u0022\u003Ewebsite\u003C\/a\u003E, the hackathon addresses \u0026ldquo;how social media creates an addictive alternate reality space that is monetized by brands and individuals\u0026rdquo; by challenging participants \u0026ldquo;to use machine learning to help demonstrate and quantify the space between \u0026lsquo;perfect\u0026rsquo; and \u0026lsquo;unfiltered\u0026rsquo; images, and how companies monetize that gap.\u0026rdquo;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThe multi-week challenge is open to all college students interested in art, design, software design, user experience design, machine learning, and business.
