ANY INTERNSHIP, regardless of how you found it, can be registered with DoPP as long as it is related to your major, at least 20 hours/week, and at least 10 weeks in length.

WHY REGISTER YOUR INTERNSHIP?

• Allows you to enroll in a free audit-credit internship course that does not affect your financial aid or scholarships, including HOPE
• Ensures that your work experience is noted on your transcript
• Lets you maintain full-time student status while you work, which, in turn, lets you maintain your eligibility for coverage by your family healthcare insurance
• Provides you with guidance in career goal-setting and documents providing input from your internship advisor about your job performance

TO REGISTER YOUR INTERSHIP  Go to the DoPP database, P2D2, at www.p2d2.gatech.edu and schedule a meeting prior to April 22 or after April 25, come in during walk-in hours which will be Monday through Friday from 10AM–Noon and 1:30–3:30PM.  Be sure to bring a copy of your internship job offer letter or e-mail when you meet with your advisor.  For more information, contact your intern advisor*.
