{"652052":{"#nid":"652052","#data":{"type":"news","title":"Charitable Campaign is Still Open ","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003EWhether it provides groceries to a family in need or feeds an animal in a shelter \u0026mdash; every dollar donated to the Georgia State Charitable Contributions Program (GASCCP) helps a worthy cause.\u0026nbsp;The GASCCP is a benefit for state of Georgia and University System employees that allows contributions to their charity of choice through payroll deductions or a one-time donation. The campaign is open through Nov. 16.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003ESince beginning in mid-September, Georgia Tech\u0026rsquo;s charitable campaign has raised more than $118,477.80 (71.8% of the goal), with 424 participants (59.1% of the goal). Since 2017, an average of 717 Tech employees have participated in the campaign each year.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThere are more than 700\u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/www.gasccp.org\/search-charities\u0022\u003E local, state, and national nonprofit organizations\u003C\/a\u003E to which you can contribute. You can support cancer research, provide food and shelter to the hungry and homeless, or assist children learning to read \u0026mdash; along with hundreds of other ways to make a difference.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003ETo contribute:\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u0026middot; Log in to \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/oneusgconnect.usg.edu\/\u0022\u003EOneUSG Connect\u003C\/a\u003E and select \u0026ldquo;Make SCCP Contribution\u0026rdquo; on the \u0026ldquo;State Charitable Contributions Program\u0026rdquo; button in the upper left of the Employee Self Service screen.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u0026middot; Select \u0026ldquo;Make Charitable Campaign Pledge\u0026rdquo; and follow the instructions.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u0026middot; Choose \u0026ldquo;Payroll Deduction\u0026rdquo; to set up the amount you choose to pledge in equal installments.
