{"651873":{"#nid":"651873","#data":{"type":"news","title":"Benefits Open Enrollment Period Begins Oct. 25","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003EWith the year coming to a close, it is a good time to review what worked well in 2021 and what not did not - including benefits!\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThe opportunity to make benefit changes starts next week with Open Enrollment running from Monday, October 25\u0026nbsp;through Friday, November 5.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EAll benefits-eligible employees can begin to review 2022\u0026nbsp;options and plan changes by visiting \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/benefits.usg.edu\/\u0022 target=\u0022_blank\u0022\u003Ebenefits.usg.edu\u003C\/a\u003E.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThere are two required certifications to be aware of:\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Col\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EWorking Spouse Surcharge: \u003C\/strong\u003EThere will be a surcharge of \u003Cstrong\u003E$100 per month \u003C\/strong\u003Eapplied to spouses covered under the plan who work and receive an offer of coverage through their place of employment.\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003ETobacco Surcharge: \u003C\/strong\u003EA \u003Cstrong\u003E$100\/per month tobacco surcharge\u003C\/strong\u003E will be added to monthly premiums for individuals (and\/or any of their\u0026nbsp;dependents) who use tobacco products.\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\u003C\/ol\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThe Virtual Benefits Fair will take place October. 25 to 29, from 9:30\u0026nbsp;a.m. to 2 p.m. and includes\u0026nbsp;live sessions, chats with vendors, and\u0026nbsp;benefits information.
