Craig discusses \u003Cem\u003EGeorgia Tech Campus Architecture\u003C\/em\u003E, the first book surveying buildings on campus from Tech Tower and the National Register listed historic district, to the latest contemporary architecture.\u003C\/div\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cdiv\u003E\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/div\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cdiv\u003EWith over 200 photographs from Georgia Tech\u0026#39;s Archives and by the author, this illustrated volume is part of Arcadia\u0026#39;s Images of America book series.\u003C\/div\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cdiv\u003E\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/div\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cdiv\u003ECraig is Professor Emeritus of the College of Design and author of 13 books, including several illustrated studies of Atlanta architecture. He is an architectural historian and published photographer.\u003C\/div\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cdiv\u003E\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/div\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cdiv\u003ECraig was born in St. Louis and received his Ph.D. from Cornell. From 1968-70, Craig served as a commissioned officer in the US Navy, mostly aboard the carrier USS Intrepid CVS-11 including Vietnam Service.\u003C\/div\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cdiv\u003E\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/div\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cdiv\u003ECraig served as Secretary of the Society of Architectural Historians, President of the Nineteenth-Century Studies Association, and President of the Southeastern American Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies. He was a founding member, past President, and long-time Treasurer of the twelve-state regional Southeast Chapter, Society of Architectural Historians, on whose board of directors he has served for 28 years.\u003C\/div\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cdiv\u003E\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/div\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cdiv\u003EHe is a member of the\u0026nbsp;Vernacular Georgia, the Society for Commercial Archaeology, and a former editor for, and board member of, the Southeastern College Art Conference. He has taught at the Georgia Tech College of Design since 1973.\u003C\/div\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cdiv\u003E\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/div\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cdiv\u003ECraig has authored or\u0026nbsp;co-authored books and\u0026nbsp;contributed essays to other books on architecture, to the New Georgia Encyclopedia, and\u0026nbsp;two\u0026nbsp;encyclopedias and dictionaries of architecture, landscape, and 19th and 20th century British and American culture.
