The program is modeled after Fortune Magazine’s "Best Places to Work" issue, with one difference. Instead of ranking institutions, this program recognizes those institutions that have built great workplaces.

A random sample of faculty and staff have been selected to represent the Tech community. Participants have been contacted via email by ModernThink LLC, a research and consulting firm focused on workplace excellence.

The survey is anonymous and provides valuable insight into the quality and health of the organizational relationships that have a direct impact on campus culture and the daily experience of the people in our community. It helps Tech leaders benchmark the Institute's strengths and weaknesses relative to its peers, and it provides the kind of data needed to make prudent decisions in long-range planning.

If you are selected to participate, please consider sharing your views and opinions before the survey closes on April 15. The results of this national survey will be revealed in a July 2011 issue of The Chronicle. If you have any questions about the "Great Colleges to Work For" survey process, please contact Sandi Bramblett.
