650078 news 1629909935 1629909935 Congratulations to Michael Lavigne who has been recognized for his teaching of MATH-4755 Mathematical Biology in Spring 2021 by being named to the Class of 1934 CIOS Honor Roll. Michael used 4755 to pilot a new course on the Agent-Based Modeling of bio-systems. The development of 4755 laid the groundwork for SCMB’s Modeling Accelerator, which took place in Summer 2021. Two 4755 students—Matthew Mims and Ryan Rinaudo—were recruited to serve as project mentors for the summer program.
