New Thrust Lead positions were created to focus on and opportunistically expand\u0026nbsp;capabilities in important areas. \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/biosciences.gatech.edu\/people\/jeffrey-skolnick\u0022\u003EJeffrey Skolnick\u003C\/a\u003E, Regents\u0026#39; Professor,\u0026nbsp;Mary and Maisie Gibson Chair, and\u0026nbsp;GRA Eminent Scholar in Computational Systems Biology\u0026nbsp;in the School of Biological Sciences, is now Thrust Lead for Precision Medicine and Drug Discovery. \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/chemistry.gatech.edu\/faculty\/sherrill\/\u0022\u003EDavid Sherrill\u003C\/a\u003E, professor in the School of Chemistry and Biochemistry, is the new\u0026nbsp;Director for the \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/chipc.gatech.edu\u0022\u003ECenter for High Performance Computing (CHiPC)\u003C\/a\u003E. Sherrill\u0026nbsp;previously served as IDEaS Asst.
