{"648854":{"#nid":"648854","#data":{"type":"event","title":"Traveling While Black","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003EIn this \u003Cstrong\u003E20-minute, 360-degree virtual reality experience\u003C\/strong\u003E, you will sit with African American visitors at the famed Ben\u0026rsquo;s Chili Bowl in Washington, D.C. as they share a moment of honest discussion, reflecting on their experiences of restricted movement and race relations in the U.S.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EAcademy Award winner Roger Ross Williams\u0026rsquo; finely crafted film highlights the urgent need to remember this past, build critical empathy, and facilitate a dialogue about the challenges minority travelers still face today.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThe stories told in \u003Cem\u003ETraveling While Blac\u003C\/em\u003Ek offer a multi-generational experience that can be shared by all. \u003Cstrong\u003EAfter the VR experience, participants will have the opportunity to gather in the lobby to reflect and respond\u003C\/strong\u003E.
