648128 news 1623773464 1623858464 <![CDATA[Get Involved in the Buzzin’ Back to School Backpack Drive ]]> Georgia Tech Human Resources (GTHR) has kicked off its tenth annual Buzzin’ Back to School Backpack Drive!  

This annual school supply drive benefits Georgia Tech employees who need support equipping their children in grades K-12 with school supplies. Over the last nine years, thanks to your generosity, we have given out more than 4,000 backpacks!  

This year, GTHR has partnered with SchoolKitz.com to offer pre-packaged supply kits. This will streamline the donation process and make sure all backpacks are filled uniformly. The deadline to order supplies from SchoolKitz is Tuesday, June 29. 

Although we strongly encourage the use of the kits, we will still accept individual supplies dropped off at Georgia Tech Human Resources until Friday, July 23.  

Need a backpack? 
The deadline to request a backpack is Friday, July 16. Backpacks will be distributed on Thursday, July 29 and Friday, July 30.
