We are the Inclusion, Advocacy, and Support Collective. We comprise offices that provide community, support, and events for the Georgia Tech community. Within our Collective, we have the LGBTQIA Resource Center, Student Diversity Programs, the Veterans Resource Center, and the Women\u0026rsquo;s Resource Center. Each office has professional staff dedicated to providing a holistic experience for students. We are excited to help first-year students find community and connection!\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EThe LGBTQIA Resource Center\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/strong\u003Esupports the Institute\u0026#39;s commitment to inclusive excellence by engaging the campus community in education, advocacy, and outreach for people of all genders and sexual identities. The Center coordinates a range of programs and events throughout the year aimed at educating faculty, students, and staff about LGBTQIA issues, providing safe spaces for LGBTQIA students to build community and explore their identities, and facilitating conversations about LGBTQIA diversity, equity, and inclusion. The LGBTQIA Resource Center will host, in conjunction with Housing and Residence Life, their annual LGBTQIA Student Welcome Reception on September 1 at 6 p.m. The center is located in the Smithgall Student Services Building, Suite 140. We advocate for the representation of all identities and cultures, and we educate and program around the multitude of identities at Tech. Our office supports students and student organizations in their diversity-related initiatives as well as their individual development.
