Summer is a great time to start planning for the next academic year. Many Spring 2022 study abroad application deadlines happen early in the fall semester. For instance, if your student is interested in studying abroad on an exchange in Spring 2022, they need to apply by September 1, 2021 — which means that there is only about a week and a half for students to get settled at Tech before they need to apply for the spring semester. Students are encouraged to meet with an advisor in the Office of International Education (OIE) this summer to explore the numerous opportunities available for their major.

We are happy to announce that we are hosting an additional OIE Administered Scholarship application cycle for undergraduate students studying abroad in fall 2021 and spring 2022. The application deadline is Thursday, July 15, and students will have an update on the status of their application by Monday, August 23. Students should apply online and will apply for nine different scholarships with their one application.
