For the upcoming Georgia Tech Wellness days, faculty and staff have also been encouraged to prioritize their mental health through self-care. To provide you with additional tools and techniques to naturally achieve a mentally calm and happy state Georgia Tech Professional Education Emotional Intelligence and Resilience Instructor and GT alumni, Tiffany Andras-Myers is hosting a special one-hour interactive meditation experience just for Georgia Tech faculty and staff.
Join us on Wednesday to begin on your path of wellness and self-compassion. You will walk away knowing (and loving) the difference meditation can make in your daily routine.
You’ll learn:
- What meditation is
- How much time it takes
- Why it works (hint, it is backed by science)
- How it improves physical and emotional health
- The role intentions can play in your life through meditation
