645382 event 1615837237 1615837237 <![CDATA[Urban Health and Wellness Team Yoga and Krav Maga Event]]> Taking care of yourself is important, especially as we near finals! Join the AMSA UHW Team at our socially distant, contactless Yoga and Krav Maga Event on April 3 from 5-7 p.m. on the CRC Stamps Field (closest to Ferst Drive)! Dr. Narin Hassan, a professor at Georgia Tech, will be teaching Yoga from 5-5:45 p.m. and Mr. Troy Logan, a member of the CRC, will be teaching contactless Krav Maga from 6-6:45 p.m.! These classes are FREE and you can attend BOTH classes, or only one of them. It is your choice! We will also be taking strict COVID-19 precautions during the event to ensure everyone’s safety! Masks will be required at all times and attendees will be required to get testing 3 days before the event on March 31 AND provide us with a negative result during check-in on the day of the event.

During this event, the UHW Team will be celebrating our philanthropic initiative of raising donations for Urban Health and Wellness and advocating for healthcare accessibility. We will be providing every attendee with a free destress to help prepare them for finals!

If you are interested in attending, please make sure you RSVP by Monday, March 29 at 11:59 p.m.! We will be capping each class at 50 attendees to maintain COVID-19 social distancing protocols. Make sure you also fill out the waiver in the RSVP form and upload the signed waiver to the form PRIOR to submitting your RSVP!
