This\u0026nbsp;focus of this proposed work is to explore\u0026nbsp;seismocardiogram-based wearable multimodal sensing techniques\u0026nbsp;to enable the use\u0026nbsp;of digital biomarkers\u0026mdash;in particular,\u0026nbsp;blood pressure and cardiac output. First,\u0026nbsp;the performance of a multimodal, wrist-worn device\u0026nbsp;capable of obtaining\u0026nbsp;noninvasive pulse transit time measurements is\u0026nbsp;used to estimate blood pressure in\u0026nbsp;an unsupervised, at-home setting.\u0026nbsp;Second, the feasibility of this wrist-worn\u0026nbsp;device is comprehensively evaluated in a diverse\u0026nbsp;and medically underserved\u0026nbsp;population over the course\u0026nbsp;of several perturbations used to modulate blood\u0026nbsp;pressure through different pathways. Finally, as part of the\u0026nbsp;proposed work, the\u0026nbsp;ability of wearable\u0026nbsp;signals acquired from a patch to noninvasively quantify cardiac\u0026nbsp;output in pediatric congenital heart disease patients is\u0026nbsp;examined in a hospital\u0026nbsp;setting.
