He served as the Chair for the \u003Cem\u003EAOM-OSCM\u003C\/em\u003E division and completed his five year term in 2019. He currently serves as the Service Management Special Interest Group (SIG) Chair for the \u003Cem\u003EMSOM\u003C\/em\u003E Society. Dr. Hora serves as a Department Editor for \u003Cem\u003EJOM\u003C\/em\u003E and a Senior Editor for the \u003Cem\u003EPOM\u003C\/em\u003E journal.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EDr. Hora has developed and taught \u003Cem\u003EService Operations Management\u003C\/em\u003E and \u003Cem\u003EEmpirical Methods\u003C\/em\u003E and has published several teaching cases. His teaching awards include the \u003Cem\u003EClass of 1940 W. Roane Beard Outstanding Teaching Award, \u003C\/em\u003Ethe \u003Cem\u003ECETL\/BP Junior Faculty Teaching Excellence Award\u003C\/em\u003E and the \u003Cem\u003EBrady Family Award for Faculty Teaching Excellence.\u003C\/em\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EPrior to joining academia, Dr. Hora worked at Deutsche Bank in various capacities in Singapore, New York, and London. His last appointment involved managing an operations team in foreign exchange derivatives in Frankfurt, Germany.
