Dr. Kossek studies how work\u0026shy;life boundaries and employment practices affect women\u0026#39;s careers. Her research appears in top academic and management journals. She recently led the writing of a commissioned report for the National Academies of Science on the effects of COVID-19 for Women in Academic Science. Dr. Kossek is an elected Fellow of the Academy of Management, the Society for Industrial-Organizational Psychology, and the American Psychological Association. This talk draws on data from national survey conducted for the National Academies of Science on Covid-19 and academic women, and shares results and perspectives on relatively weak responses of universities.
