{"641142":{"#nid":"641142","#data":{"type":"event","title":"Briarlake Forest Wisteria Pull","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003EJoin Trailblazers on Saturday, Nov.\u0026nbsp;21\u0026nbsp;as we volunteer with Eco-Addendum to pull invasive Wisteria out of Briarlake Forest!\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003ENon-native Chinese Wisteria is one of the most aggressive invasive species, and when left unchecked, will over-grow even the largest trees, eventually killing them. We want to cut the infestation back while it\u0026rsquo;s manageable and before it over grows the park\u0026rsquo;s trees. Your help is greatly needed and appreciated!\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EWe\u0026rsquo;ll just do a short walk, about 1\/2 mile, and work in off-trail locations. Please wear long sleeves, long pants, sturdy shoes, and work gloves are highly recommended.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EDue to Covid-19 precautions, we are not currently re-using gloves, so please bring your own gloves, or we can provide a brand new, unused pair for $5 you can take home with you (and use next time).\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EPlease provide your own transportation to the park if possible and meet us at 9:30 at the\u0026nbsp; If you need a ride, we will be meeting at 9 a.m.\u0026nbsp;at the CULC turnaround to carpool. Masks are required at all times, and social distancing will be maintained.
