From virtual yoga sessions to watching movies at Bobby Dodd Stadium, Georgia Tech units are offering a variety of virtual and in-person events to keep you busy this fall. Read on to learn more about seven of our picks.  

1. Engage your artistic side. Whether you’re into streaming new music like Kaki King’s new Modern Yesterdays or immersive audio-visual displays like the upcoming Amygdala installation, the Ferst Center’s Arts@Tech program offers something for everyone. Check out the center’s event calendar to see what’s up next.
2. Just breathe. SKY at Georgia Tech, a meditation and stress-relief student organization, offers 60-minute yoga sessions that are free for students every Sunday at 11 a.m. To receive the meeting link, register here.
3. Catch a movie. Grab your mask, and head outside to Bobby Dodd Stadium for a movie night. With space to spread out, you can catch up with friends while watching movies like Thor: Ragnarok and Jumanji. Sign up here, and visit the Student Center Programs Council’s website regularly to see what’s showing.
4. Connect with the LGBTQIA community. If you’re looking for support, new friends, or just some casual conversation with fellow LGBTQIA students, sign up for one of the Q Chats held by the LGBTQIA Resource Center. Check out the center’s calendar for a chat that works best for you, or email the center for more information about virtual chats.
5. Work in the garden. Join the Students Organizing for Sustainability group in keeping up the campus community garden, located near the Instructional Center. Come by with your mask on Oct. 31 and Nov. 14 from 9 to 11 a.m. to trim branches, and potentially take home some free produce. Register at the links in their event for your hour-long time slot.
6. Stream a show. Even though it might not be in-person, live theater is still happening at Tech’s student-run theater, DramaTech. Tune in to a Night of One Acts directed by the students of the LMC 4602 directing class Nov. 13-21 at 8 p.m.
7. Get tips from the professionals. Learn more about the industry you’re interested in and life after graduation from Tech alumni. The Student Alumni Association (SAA) hosts weekly online Expert Jacket and Dinner Jacket panels where you can hear alumni share their career-building experiences, ask questions, and get professional development advice. Become a member for just $10 to access these events, and check out SAA’s calendar for dates and information about who’s hosting.
