Fostering the Next Generation of Leaders in Biomedical Engineering

Some of the most important skills in BME can’t be learned from the latest textbook, the biggest laboratory or even the most high-tech classroom. The most successful research scientists in any field are strong leaders with a firm understanding of themselves, their values and a clear vision of their goals. They can readily communicate their research agendas beyond the pragmatics of scientific techniques and experimental outcomes.
