The healthcare system refers to these as \u0026ldquo;never events\u0026rdquo; so they should never happen, right? But, data suggests that they occur more than twice a day. This was a red flag for Jackson Medical Co-founders James Rains and Kamil Makhnejia.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EAt the Georgia Institute of Technology, Rains and Makhnejia began conceptualizing GloShield\u0026trade; to address this safety issue.
