{"639252":{"#nid":"639252","#data":{"type":"news","title":"Terry Blum and Martha Grover Join ADVANCE Program","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003ETerry Blum and Martha Grover were recently named ADVANCE professors for Georgia Tech\u0026rsquo;s Scheller College of Business and the College of Engineering, respectively.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EEstablished in 2001 and supported by \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/diversity.gatech.edu\/\u0022\u003EInstitute Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion\u003C\/a\u003E, Georgia Tech\u0026rsquo;s \u003Ca href=\u0022http:\/\/www.advance.gatech.edu\/\u0022\u003EADVANCE Program\u003C\/a\u003E builds and sustains an inter-college network of professors who are world-class researchers and role models to support the community and advancement of women and minorities in academia. Professors are nominated by their respective deans to serve as their College\u0026rsquo;s leading advocate for gender and race equality.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThere is an ADVANCE professor representative from each of Georgia Tech\u0026rsquo;s six colleges.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EGrover, the associate chair of Graduate Studies for Georgia Tech\u0026rsquo;s School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering \u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/chbe.gatech.edu\/news\/2020\/08\/martha-grover-focusing-gender-and-race-equality-advance-professor\u0022\u003Erecently said\u003C\/a\u003E: \u0026ldquo;I began my faculty career at Georgia Tech in 2002, as the ADVANCE program was getting started.
