  <title><![CDATA[Ozkan and Shemyakina Named to Leading Women@Tech Cohort]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[<p>Two&nbsp;Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts faculty and staff&ndash;Sebnem &Ouml;zkan, associate director of the Atlanta Global Studies Center and Olga Shemyakina, associate professor in the School of Economics&nbsp;&ndash; have been named to the 2020-21 cohort of Leading Women@Tech, an Institute-level program that seeks to &quot;engage women leaders who are in assistant/associate director-level positions and above at the Institute.&quot;</p>

<p>Leading Women@Tech, which Institute Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion launched in March 2016, is a program that works to &quot;create professional development opportunities for women leaders and build a community who will advance a culture of inclusive excellence at Georgia Tech,&quot; as well as &quot;strengthen leadership ability, enhance personal and professional growth, and support overall career development of the participants.&quot;</p>

<p>Participants in the program participate in collaborative activites on a monthly basis and have the option to receive additional career coaching.&nbsp;</p>
