{"639017":{"#nid":"639017","#data":{"type":"news","title":"Careers Phase 2 Rollout This Month","body":[{"value":"\u003Cp\u003EAs part of Georgia Tech\u0026#39;s transition to OneUSG Connect in March, we launched Careers to support the hiring of staff and Tech Temps.\u0026nbsp;\u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/transformation.gatech.edu\/sites\/default\/files\/images\/careers-one-pag_47388503_6.pdf\u0022\u003ECareers\u003C\/a\u003E\u0026nbsp;is an applicant tracking system designed to provide easy-to-follow\u0026nbsp;actions\u0026nbsp;for every step in the recruiting process, allowing employees and external candidates to search, view, and apply for jobs online.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EGeorgia Tech is using a phased approach to fully implement the\u0026nbsp;Careers\u0026nbsp;module:\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cul\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EPhase 1\u003C\/strong\u003E of Careers, which went live on April 6, included staff and Tech Temp openings.\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EPhase 2\u003C\/strong\u003E is going live in September and will bring competitive hiring searches for academic faculty and research faculty (excluding GTRI) positions into Careers.\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EPhase 3\u003C\/strong\u003E, scheduled to launch in spring 2021, will include all remaining competitive hiring searches (students, GTRI research faculty, and federal work study students) into Careers.\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\u003C\/ul\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003ECareers is replacing disparate\u0026nbsp;systems and processes with a centralized repository for managing recruitment and applicant data. It will facilitate\u0026nbsp;communication and\u0026nbsp;collaboration\u0026nbsp;with\u0026nbsp;applicants, managers, search committee\u0026nbsp;members, Faculty Affairs,\u0026nbsp;Human Resources,\u0026nbsp;and USG colleagues.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EBeginning Oct. 1, any new competitive faculty hiring searches (excluding GTRI research faculty positions) will be required to be posted in Careers.
