  <body><![CDATA[<p>Mega trends and market forces are
converging to fundamentally shift our business models and strategies.&nbsp;
Yet, organizations can’t deliver on new strategies with the old culture.&nbsp;
Achieving sustainable growth requires doing more than having a string of green
projects.&nbsp; It means embedding sustainability into every aspect of the
business model and into the very fabric of organizational culture.&nbsp; </p>



<p>On Wednesday, <strong>September 7, </strong>the
fall 2011 IMPACT Speaker Series will open with a presentation on “Creating a
Culture of Sustainable Success,” by Diana Rivenburgh, <strong>CEO and President of
Strategic Imperatives, Inc</strong>. Please join us to hear Ms. Rivenburgh’s
thoughts on engaging people to move beyond a culture of compliance to one of
commitment and sustainable success.&nbsp; </p>

<p>Diana Rivenburgh is the CEO and
President of Strategic Imperatives, Inc., a global consulting firm that helps
clients leverage the power of sustainability for economic, social and environmental
prosperity. Clients include Novo Nordisk, PVH, Verint, Adecco, Stop &amp; Shop
Supermarkets, Gentiva Health Services, Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, the City
of Decatur, GA Department of Natural Resources, DentaQuest and others.</p>



<p>With 25+ years of experience,
Diana has worked with businesses, NGOs and communities on strategy, organizational
and leadership development, culture transformation and change management. Prior
to launching two consulting practices, she held several corporate leadership
positions including Vice President of Organization Development for Gartner,
Assistant Vice President of Organizational Effectiveness for Gentiva Health
Services and Director of Organization Development for Olsten.</p>



<p>Diana has her M.S. in Positive
Organizational Development from Case Western Reserve University and her B.S. in
Business Administration from New York Institute of Technology. She has also
attended Ashridge Business School (UK), Katholieke Universiteit in Leuven
(Belgium), SOL’s Learning and Leading for Sustainability program at MIT and the
Cambridge and Prince of Wales’ Business and Sustainability</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p><p><em>About the Impact Speaker Series</em></p>

<p>Since 2002, the IMPACT Speaker Series has brought highly successful business
leaders from a variety of industries to campus to share their experiences and
give advice to students and other entrepreneurs on topics ranging from
"building a venture around intellectual capital" to "successful
entrepreneurship in large organizations" and "socially responsible
leadership". </p>

<p>The weekly series provides Georgia Tech students, alumni and the Atlanta
business community an opportunity to network and learn from successful
entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and notable business and non-profit
leaders. Events take place in the LeCraw Auditorium in the College of
Management building at 4:30 pm on Wednesdays unless otherwise noted. </p>

<p><strong>The series is free and open to the public, and reservations are not
required.</strong></p>
