Control and Prevention (CDC)\u0026nbsp;updated its guidance for managing Covid-19 related issues.\u0026nbsp;Among the changes are definitions for people who will need extra precaution due to age and underlying medical conditions.\u0026nbsp;In response to those changes\u0026nbsp;from the CDC,\u0026nbsp;the University System of Georgia (USG) is providing updated guidance\u0026nbsp;on the wearing of face coverings and\u0026nbsp;for who is eligible to seek alternate work arrangements due to falling into one of these categories.\u0026nbsp;\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003E\u003Cstrong\u003EOlder Adults\u003C\/strong\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EThe CDC no longer gives a minimum age for those at risk.\u0026nbsp;The USG will continue to use 65 as its measure for evaluating requests for alternate work arrangements.\u0026nbsp;Individuals who are\u0026nbsp;younger than\u0026nbsp;65 can provide documentation from a health care provider that their age is a determining factor for risk Coverings\u003C\/strong\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EEffective July 15, 2020, University System of Georgia (USG) institutions will require all faculty, staff, students, and visitors to wear an appropriate face covering while inside campus facilities\/buildings where six feet social distancing may not always be possible.
