Please have your student monitor their Georgia Tech email for notifications and updates for August move-in and read the Move-in Tips on our website. Returning students are scheduled to move in Saturday and Sunday, August 15-16, 2020. 

When students are packing, they should use our Items to Bring page for suggestions. Don’t let them pack too much, and encourage communication between roommates to avoid duplicate items. 

Once your student has received a room assignment they can view it and their roommate(s) information in My Housing. If a room change is desired, students can do this using the Room Swap tab in My Housing. It is best if all room changes are completed online prior to checking out the room key in August. If your student has not applied for housing, but would like to do so, the application period is still open. More information about the Housing application can be found here.
