New Student Refund Process Requires Action

The Georgia Tech Bursar's Office is now processing all student refunds using electronic funds transfer (EFT), also known as direct deposit for student refunds. Students can register for EFT on Oscar; once account information is verified, disbursements will be processed directly into a designated checking or savings account. Banks must be a U.S. bank.

Deposits via EFT are made directly to a student’s bank account and will include refunds due to overpayment of a student’s account resulting from financial aid, scholarships, fellowships, loans, or stipend payments from a sponsor. An EFT deposit is the fastest way for students to receive a refund.

For more information, visit http://www.bursar.gatech.edu/content/direct-deposit
