His parents arrived in the U.S. when he was a child, along with his five brothers and sisters.  They stressed the importance of hard work, determination, and the value of education as the best way for Praise and his siblings to make a better life.

His journey led him to Georgia Tech after transferring from Georgia State University's Perimeter College.

“I am the type of person who needs experiences to decide on a path, and I got the chance to see what fit and what didn’t,” he explained.

Excelling at Tech, Praise earned Dean’s and President’s List honors eight semesters while participating in the Society of Black Engineers, Hytech Racing, and studying abroad in France.

Today, he and four of his siblings have earned bachelor’s degrees, with his youngest brother currently working on a degree in psychology. Praise graduated with a B.S. in mechanical engineering and plans to continue his studies at Tech, pursuing a master's in mechanical engineering.
