This would provide a path toward integration of classical and quantum processors on a single chip. For this purpose, it is necessary to study the fundamental requirements for efficient interconnecting, and interaction between different parties forming the hybrid system, i.e., interfaces, to establish a framework to be used in high-speed photonic processors and quantum photonic chips.
