Saligram will also be mentored by Neena Imam from ORNL.

With recent advances in quantum computing and the development of quantum computing hardware, there is a need to enable cryogenic CMOS circuits that can act as drivers, read-out circuits, digital interfaces, and storage to augment quantum machines. Saligram’s proposed work addresses the design and characterization of CMOS peripheral circuits all the way down to 4K. This is based on initial work by Saligram, where he has demonstrated successful operation of 28nm foundry transistors with superior electrical characteristics scaled down to 4K. This work is well-aligned with Georgia Tech’s newly founded Georgia Tech Quantum Alliance (GTQA).

ECE Ph.D. student Rakshith Saligram has received an Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) Seed Research Award.

limited_html
ECE Ph.D. student Rakshith Saligram has received an Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) Seed Research Award.
{"634282":
"path_740":"http://hg.gatech.edu/sites/default/files/styles/740xx_scale/public/images/Rakshith-cropped.jpg?itok=jGNokC8B
634282

Jackie Nemeth

School of Electrical and Computer Engineering

404-894-2906

limited_html
jackie.nemeth@ece.gatech.edu
