  <title><![CDATA[Fall 2020 New Courses!]]></title>
  <body><![CDATA[<p>With the addition of four new faculty, the School of Economics is offering a number of new undergraduate courses for Fall 2020. The <a href="https://econ.gatech.edu/undergraduate/degrees/fall2020courses"><strong>new courses</strong></a> compement&nbsp;and deepen the foundational economics curriculum we already have.</p>

<p><strong>New courses</strong> include International Trade &amp; Policy (replacing International Economics for fall 2020), Behavioral Economics, and Law &amp; Economics of the World Trading System. Other new courses aim to provide students with deeper statistical and programming tools include Casual Inference and Research Design in Economics, which focuses on R programming tools, and the Empirical Economics Practicum series that focuses on SAS programming.</p>

<p>These <strong>new courses </strong>complement <strong>other elective courses</strong> offered this fall, which include International Energy Markets, Money and Capital Markets, and Game Theory.&nbsp; Students in our electives have an opportunity to learn the newest developments in economic theory and statistical methods and learn how to apply these theories to real-world data and test them by running real-world experiments.&nbsp;</p>
