New courses include International Trade & Policy (replacing International Economics for fall 2020), Behavioral Economics, and Law & Economics of the World Trading System. Other new courses aim to provide students with deeper statistical and programming tools include Casual Inference and Research Design in Economics, which focuses on R programming tools, and the Empirical Economics Practicum series that focuses on SAS programming.

These new courses complement other elective courses offered this fall, which include International Energy Markets, Money and Capital Markets, and Game Theory.  Students in our electives have an opportunity to learn the newest developments in economic theory and statistical methods and learn how to apply these theories to real-world data and test them by running real-world experiments.
