The College of Engineering placed eighth in the overall graduate engineering program rankings and fourth among all public engineering institutions. All of the graduate programs in the College ranked in the top 10 of their respective areas for the ninth consecutive year. In terms of rankings among public universities, both our electrical engineering and computer engineering graduate programs placed third, the same positions as last year.

According to Magnus Egerstedt, the Steve W. Chaddick School Chair for ECE, these latest rankings show that many years of hard work and dedication by the Georgia Tech ECE community and its commitment to excellence are noticed by our peers. 

“The passion, creativity, and commitment to excellence that I see each day from our faculty, staff, and students are inspiring and invigorating,” said Egerstedt. “All of these traits make ECE a truly special place.
