“The Coulter biomedical engineering department is creating medical breakthroughs driven by engineering innovation and translational research,” said Susan Margulies, chair of the Coulter Department.

In addition, our world-class faculty and students are part of an award-winning intersectional ecosystem, solving our most important problems at the interface of medicine and engineering.”

For the ninth consecutive year, all 11 of Georgia Tech’s graduate engineering programs are ranked in the top 10 in their fields in the 2021 U.S. News & World Report graduate rankings.

Chemical - 5th (tied with Minnesota and UT-Austin)

Civil – 3rd (tied with Stanford)

Computer - 6th

Electrical - 6th (tied with Michigan)

Environmental - 5th (tired with UT-Austin)

Industrial - 1st                

Materials - 9th

Mechanical - 5th (tied with Illinois and Michigan)

Nuclear - 9th (tied with Penn State)

Overall the Georgia Tech College of Engineering’s graduate programs are ranked eighth in the country and third among public colleges.
