{"631801":{"#nid":"631801","#data":{"type":"event","title":"Think Globally, Teach Locally -- Faculty Workshop","body":[{"value":"\u003Ch2\u003EThink Globally, Teach Locally\u003C\/h2\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EGraduating global citizens is one of Georgia Tech\u0026rsquo;s strategic goals, yet\u0026nbsp;many students don\u0026rsquo;t have the opportunity to study\u0026nbsp;abroad.\u0026nbsp; What are we doing at home to help students engage in global challenges and develop intercultural communication skills?\u0026nbsp; In this workshop, we invite participants to consider how integrating the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into their courses will help foster global citizenship no matter where students are learning.\u0026nbsp; The\u0026nbsp;\u003Ca href=\u0022https:\/\/www.un.org\/sustainabledevelopment\/sustainable-development-goals\/\u0022\u003EUN SDGs\u003C\/a\u003E\u0026nbsp;are a set of 17 broad and interconnected goals that address the global challenges we face.
