The talk, which will take place in the West Village Ensemble Room at 5:30 p.m., will focus on ethical decision-making, leadership, and his path to the state\u0026rsquo;s highest court.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EJustice Peterson completed his undergraduate education at Kennesaw State University before receiving a J.D. from Harvard Law School, where he served as the executive editor of the \u003Cem\u003EHarvard Journal of Law and Public Policy\u003C\/em\u003E. After graduating from Harvard, Justice Peterson worked at the private firm King and Spalding LLP in Atlanta before moving to the public sector. He worked in both the governor\u0026rsquo;s office and attorney general\u0026rsquo;s office in Georgia before being appointed to the state\u0026rsquo;s Court of Appeals. Former Governor Nathan Deal appointed him to the Supreme Court of Georgia, effective Jan. 1, 2017.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\r\n\u003Cp\u003EDuring the event, students will have time to ask questions and interact with Justice Peterson.
