This workshop will focus on focus on identifying relevant and credible sources when researching social and environmental issues. With the help of GT librarian Cynthia Kutka and Elizabeth Holdsworth, you will work in small groups and dive into various social issues, both from a problem and from a solutions perspective.

In preparation for this session, we encourage you to visit the Solutions Journalism website and check-out their Solutions Tracker to see how journalists research these issues.

Participation in the Ideas to Serve Competition fulfills the Final Deliverable requirement for the SLS Innovating for Social Impact Program.

Please note this workshop series is part of MGT4803 J: Social Impact, but you don’t have to be enrolled in the course to attend the workshops.
