A Bachelor\u0026rsquo;s degree is preferred but an Associate\u0026rsquo;s degree is okay.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\t\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cp\u003EUnderstand that Foreverfamily internships are part-time, unpaid positions. We strongly encourage and are happy to assist you in securing internship credit at your school.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\t\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cp\u003EWork a minimum of 10 hours per week which must include at least 3 hours a day, two days a week. Semester-long internships are accepted. However, a\u0026nbsp;\u003Cem\u003Eyearlong commitment is \u0026nbsp;preferred but not required.\u003C\/em\u003E\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\t\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cp\u003EParticipate in 3 prison trips if a semester-long intern and 6 trips if a year-long intern.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\t\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cp\u003EHave an interest in criminal justice, youth development, and\/\/or nonprofits.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\t\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cp\u003EPossess effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Interns must be able to communicate with youth, peers, and adults.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\t\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cp\u003EBe a quick learner with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, flexible environment.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\t\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cp\u003EDemonstrate strong attention to detail and organization.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\t\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cp\u003EBe technologically savvy. Interns must be literate and fluent in the operation of Microsoft Office and Google Apps.\u003C\/p\u003E\r\n\t\u003C\/li\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cli\u003E\r\n\t\u003Cp\u003EDemonstrate professional and personal maturity.
